"This stunning little BoereBistro could teach a lot of City restaurants a thing or two about delivering a great dining experience. With it's funky Brit Boeroque decor and cool kitsch terrace we celebrated a birthday at BBBS and were never dissapointed. The service was warm and friendly, the food was sublime, the menu was local and very lekker and the wine selection on offer was varied and well priced...the skilpaadjes, the ricotta stuffed courgette flowers, the pepper fillet..mmmmh. Well done Bar Bar Black Sheep"

"Then something extraordinary happened, something that has never happened to me before in a restaurant in South Africa. Our waiter, a smiling gentle fellow from Bulawayo, came to us and thanked us, in all sincerity, “for the gratuity”. Bar Bar Black Sheep, a special place, special people, and special food." > read more
